Today we want to discuss perhaps the most complicated tool in Photoshop: the Mixer Brush. I consider it a very frequently used tool in retouching. However, most people might not know that it can also be used like a clone stamp or a paint palette knife. Here's a summary of the values: Paint Pool: Brush or stamp Wet: Canvas paint; the higher the value, the longer the brush stroke Fill: The amount of paint from the paint pool that is mixed into the canvas paint Mix: A mixture of paint pool and canvas paint. 0% only paint pool, 100% only canvas paint Flow: How much paint comes out of the brush. A small flow means frequent swipes; a large flow can function like a palette knife.
