Hand caught Crawfish Catch and Cook (Colusa, Ca)

This is our third year crawfishing rice fields in Northern California. Each year is a gamble as to whether or not we time the channel drainage. We have had the best luck in the first weeks of September but it really depends on the water levels of the channels. Keep an eye out for private property signs. Most fields and roads are labeled if they don’t want trespassers. Hope you enjoyed the video!
