Google Earth Led me to the Strangest Mountains in the West

These mountains are incredibly interesting, as they were the last mountains in the lower 48 to be mapped by the USGS. They are also the first mountain range to be described as a laccolith by geologists, resulting of the creating of that term when they were discovered. In this video I check out some of the most interesting features that have resulted from this incredibly unique and beautiful geology. Somehow, a near perfect arc of stone was created, which is one of the most impressive things I have ever found on google earth. GEAR I USE!
