The chronic illness brought immense challenges — from excruciating physical pain and fatigue that no rest could cure, to the battle against guilt and the feeling of being a “terrible mother.” She recounts her quest for answers in medicine, including awakening to the power of holistic nutrition and epigenetics, which helped her rise from isolation and get out of bed. However, she emphasizes that these tools were only part of the process — the true healing and support came from her relationship with the Almighty. Her move to Orlando, initially motivated by logistical and financial reasons, turned out to be part of a divine plan. In a moment of deep fragility, unable to walk and using a cane, Dani accepted Jesus at a women’s Christian event, in an act of total surrender: “I can’t do this anymore. I can’t. God already has. Take care of me.” That step of faith opened the door to a transformation that manifested itself clearly and unmistakably. She shares remarkable spiritual experiences, including an explicit temptation from the enemy during a peak of pain, and the emotional confirmation of her calling through people from different spiritual backgrounds who directed her to Vida Church. From that point on, careful reading of the Bible became her daily nourishment and source of understanding, revealing not only who God is but who she is in Him — demystifying ego and the concept of self-sufficiency. Her life is now a living testimony of what the Word says. Dani Valente concludes by sharing her great dream and life purpose: to write and produce faith-based films and build bridges so that more stories of transformation can reach the world.
