Yugioh's Most Depressing Archetype

Ashened, a TCG-exclusive archetype to the game of Yu-gi-oh, recently received new support in the main set "Legacy of Destruction". These new cards add extra layers to the deck's story, one already presumed to draw inspiration from the ancient destruction of Pompeii and the FromSoftware franchise, Dark Souls. This video seeks to explore these new references and to dive into detail on the now more-fleshed-out, depressing tale of the Ashened.
