MERCANTOUR2KVIN EP 1 : Boréon / Refuge de la Cougourde

Welcome to this first episode about our trek in the Mercantour National Park! Starting from the Boréon cowshed, we set off on a journey of several days of hiking. For the first stage, a short 4-hour hike awaits us. We'll take a left turn towards the Bessons Lakes (very inconclusive, the sky almost fell on our heads on the first day). At the end of the stage, we'll arrive at the Cougourde Refuge, simply magnificent! A wonderful welcome, a great team, and hearty, balanced, and high-quality meals. As for bivouacking, we'll be in a tent, as we did for all the nights of the trek.
