4. Teaching and Learning in Emergencies (Spanish)

This animation summarises the many different aspects of teaching, learning and improving outcomes, and the challenges around these in emergencies. This includes a look at the vital issue of teacher supply, wellbeing and development of knowledge and skills needed to support and teach children effectively in emergencies. The role of the curriculum, sensitivities around it and need to align it to the phase of the emergency is also considered, along with the importance of recognising learning both to incentivise engagement and offer hope for a better future.
