From October 1 to 10, I went to Hokkaido. I left Lake Shikaribetsu and headed for Shiretoko. The weather is forecast to break for the next couple of days. I stay at a guest house. The sea seems to be a little rough, but we go out for chum salmon (Siro-Sake) fishing. It was difficult. I couldn't see any salmon, but they seemed to be there. However, only one or two anglers caught a fish out of 20 anglers. It was such a situation. It was past noon, and I almost gave up, but as I kept casting, I suddenly got a hit. 73 cm, a nice male. Thank you, Shiretoko. The next day and the day after that, it was raining, so I walked to the nearby sea, but there were people at the point I wanted to enter. I tried a little, but it didn't look like I could catch any fish, so I stopped immediately and went back to the inn. When I left Shiretoko, I looked into the Onnebetsu River. It was a salmon run.
