X. Pirâmide de Maslow | Da necessidade à transcendência

In the tenth and final lesson, we reinterpreted Maslow's pyramid in the light of philosophy and spirituality, understanding it as a path to the integral maturation of the human being. Each level of the hierarchy of needs is seen as a stage in the formation of virtues that harmonize body, soul, and spirit. Temperance moderates appetites, prudence organizes life, justice orders relationships, and fortitude sustains fidelity to truth. At the apex, self-actualization becomes transcendence—the fullness of the soul that finds in God the ultimate meaning of existence. This vision reveals that true human development is not only psychological, but also moral and spiritual: the ascent from need to freedom, from want to love, from instinct to virtue.
