Its historical significance and architectural splendor continue to inspire and captivate visitors and devotees alike. 17-ാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ സിറിയായിൽ നിന്നും കേരളത്തിൽ എത്തി പല വിശുദ്ധ ദേവാലയങ്ങളും സന്ദർശിച്ച് കല്ലടയിൽ എത്തി കല്ലടയിലെ വി. ദൈവമാതാവിന്റെ നാമത്തിലുള്ള പള്ളിയിലെ വി. മദ്ബഹായിൽ അന്ത്യവിശ്രമം കൊള്ളുന്ന പുണ്യപിതാവാണ് മാർ അന്ത്രയോസ് ബാവ സിറിയായിൽ ജനിച്ച് ബാല്യം മുതലേ ദൈവത്തിനായി ജീവിച്ച് വന്നാ അദ്ദേഹം ഒരു മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്താ ആയതിനു ശേഷം മലങ്കരയിലേക്ക് എഴുന്നള്ളിയത് ദൈവനിയോഗ പ്രകാരം ആയിരുന്നു പരിശുദ്ധ പിതാവിന്റെ കാലം ശേഷവും മരണമില്ലാത്തവനായി വിശ്വാസികളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ നിലകൊണ്ട് ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥത അണയ്ക്കുന്ന പരിശുദ്ധനാണ് മാർ അന്ത്രയോസ് ബാവ വിശ്വാസികൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വല്ല്യ ഔപ്പൻ എന്നാണ് ആദ്യ വിളിച്ചിരുന്നത് വല്ല്യ ഔപ്പൻ ലോപിച്ചാണ് വല്ല്യപ്പൂപ്പൻ ആയി മാറിയത്. ഒന്നാം മാർത്തോമ്മായ്ക്കു ശേഷം 1670-ൽ രണ്ടാം മാർത്തോമ്മ സ്ഥാനം ഏറ്റതിനെ തുടർന്നും വിദേശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും മലങ്കര സഭയുടെ ക്ഷണപ്രകാരം പല മെത്രാൻമാരു വരുകയുണ്ടായി ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കാലത്ത് എത്തിയ പിതാവാണ് മാർ അന്ത്രയോസ് ബാവ കൂടുതൽ സമയവും ദേവാലയങ്ങളിൽ താമസിച്ച് ജീവിതം നയിക്കുവാൻ അദ്ദേഹം ഏറെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു 1678-ൽ മാർ അന്ത്രയോസ് ബാവ കേരളത്തിൽ വന്നു. 1692 മാർച്ച് 2-ാം തീയതി (കൊല്ലവർഷം 867 കുംഭം 18 ന് കാലം ചെയ്ത പരിശുദ്ധ പിതാവിന്റെ ഭൗതികശരീരം കുംഭം 19 ന് കല്ലട പള്ളിയുടെ മദ്ബഹായിൽ കബറടക്കി എല്ലാ വർഷവും കുംഭം 18 , 19 , തീയ്യതികളിൽ അന്ത്രയോസ് ബാവയുടെ ഓർമ്മപ്പെരുന്നാൾ കൊണ്ടാടുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ജീവീത കാലത്ത് സന്ദർശിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള എല്ലാ ദേവാലയങ്ങളിലും ഈ പരിശുദ്ധന്റെ പെരുന്നാൾ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു മലയാള നാടിന്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും പടിഞ്ഞാറെ കല്ലടയിൽ അന്ത്യവിശ്രമം കൊള്ളുന്ന ബാവായുടെ മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥതയിൽ അനുഗ്രഹം നേടുന്നതിനായി എത്തുന്ന ഭക്ത ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് നിത്യമായ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട് വിശുദ്ധനായ അന്ത്രയോസ് ബാവ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. ലോകത്തിന്റെ ഏതു കോണിൽ ആയാലും അന്ത്രയോസ് ബാവയെ കേട്ടറിയുന്നവർ ഈ കബറിങ്കൽ എത്തുന്നുണ്ട് പരിശുദ്ധന്റെ മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥത നമുക്ക് അനുഗ്രഹമായി തീരട്ടെ .  മാർ അന്ത്രയോസ് ബാവ പുണ്യപിതാവ് St. Mary’s Orthodox Syrian Church & Mar Anthrayos Pilgrim Center #kallada #kalladapally #kalladapallylive #kalladavaliyapalli #kalladaappupan #aninformativemedia #anthrayosbava
