Daniel Munduruku - Culturas indígenas (2018)

Writer, professor and CEO of the UKA Institute – the House of Ancestral Knowledge, Daniel Munduruku was born in Pará and is a descendant of the Munduruku people. He currently lives in Lorena, in the state of São Paulo, where he chose to continue his studies and enter the professional world. Despite being a writer, he does not consider himself a great reader. He believes in writing as a way of telling stories. Daniel is one of the first indigenous writers to write for his people and for non-indigenous people, thus also thinking about the children of the city. Testimony recorded during the event Mekukradjá – Circle of Knowledge of Indigenous Writers and Filmmakers, in August 2018, in São Paulo/SP. Read more about the event: http://goo.gl/kpRWq5.
