Papa Doug is Coming to Town ║ Large Family Vlog │ Summer Break Week 9

This week Papa Doug (Tom's step dad) is coming all the way from California for a visit! He's sleeping in the girls' room, so all 8 kids are bunking up in the boys' room for the week. Papa Gary came over to eat with us every night while Papa Doug was visiting so we had lots of fun together. Papa Doug and Papa Gary have birthdays two days apart in the beginning of September so we ended Papa Doug's visit with a double birthday party. While Papa Doug was here he helped Tom put up some shelves in the bike shed, we went out to eat at China King Buffet, we went bowling, plus our usual trip to see Grandma Fern and Story Hour at the library. We got our van back from the repair shop after nearly a week; the second air conditioning repair cost $650 after the original $1,200 repair!
