It can be powered by all DEWALT 18/20V batteries, including the Powerstack and Flexvolt. It's small and (very) lightweight. I used it with the Powerstack 1.7Ah and it was still incredibly light. It cuts at a high speed of 20,000 RPM, but when you release your finger from the trigger, the blade stops spinning very quickly. It almost stops instantly. This is amazing. It can cut wood, metal, plastic, aluminum, tile, etc., depending on the blade used. I really like it!
