Pokemon Dreams - Boss Battles

Dreams is a CRFU hack with an original story and region, with a handful of new Fakemon as well. I'd heard of this game a while ago and played a very small amount but didn't continue with it, only playing for about a single badge or so at that time, but decided to pick up a new file the other day since I've been playing through some very easy enhancement hacks and some non-difficulty original projects recently. I've only ever really seen positive things said about this game but unfortunately it didn't really do anything for me. The story had some interesting elements but as a whole I wasn't really absorbed into it and the gameplay was definitely not carrying this for me (I won't pretend that this isn't at least probably partially a result of turning on party exp share but honestly my philosophy on that is just that if you put that in your game you should just either have hard caps or balance your level curve under the assumption that it's on/not make it toggleable because this felt like playing X/Y again). Quite frankly the overleveling problem could have been way worse - I basically fought everyone and explored everything for the first 5 or so badges and then started superspeeding and only hitting mandatory plot parts after that so I missed so many random swimmers on water routes and Waterfall/Dive backtracking that I probably would have been pushing lv100 lmao. In the end this kind of felt like a repeat of my experience with Uranium/Insurgence where I saw people talk up the story and gameplay most times I saw the games brought up only to play them and be very underwhelmed (to a lesser extent with this game both because I've heard less people hype this since it's not as big of a name and also because those other two games were way worse experiences imo) but still not my favorite experience ever, but it seems like a lot of people were able to have a lot of fun with this game. also shoutout to the fact that like half the playable characters across the entire series of fire emblem are npc trainer names lmao 0:00 Coil Admin Lyre (1) 1:58 Leader Beat 4:40 Rival Victor (1) 6:25 Pokémon Trainer ???
