Double life plus 44 years for Kimberley cyberbully, rape, and murder accused.

The Northern Cape High Court sentenced Itumeleng Bendow Machabe (27) to a double life sentence plus an additional forty-four years in prison for multiple charges including murder, rape, extortion, fraud, crimen injuria, and child pornography on 18 February 2025. He was found guilty on a total of 18 charges, which included rape and murder of 11-year-old Relebogile Segami. Machabe later dumped her body in the veld behind the Provincial Legislature building in Galeshewe in March 2022. Machabe was also convicted of raping three minors between the ages of 13 and 15 years old, extortion, fraud, crimen injuria, and child pornography.
