We lost the Simple Grandma Lifestyle (and it shows)

Most of us are tired not because we do too little, but because modern life is overstimulating and needs a lot of energy to maintain. In this video I talk about the challenges modern life brings and compare it with simple living, intentional living, homemaking, and homesteading lifestyles that our grandmothers often practiced without calling it that. Less consumption, more routine. More homemaking, gardening and cooking from scratch. More budget living, saving money, and working with what you already have. And less overconsumption and scrolling. We are answering the questions of: Why are we so depressed and tired? Why are we so burned out and exhausted? What did our grandparents do differently? How can we go back to a simple life? We moved from low-cost, low-stimulation living to high-cost, high-stimulation living — and many people feel the difference in energy and mental load. This video is a reminder of what simpler, cheaper, and more intentional living can look like, and why so many people are returning to it today. If you’re interested in homesteading, saving money and living a simple life, gardening, intentional living, and building a lower-cost lifestyle, this channel is about that shift. 📦Get my Pantry Tracker here ➡️ https://moneymalism.gumroad.com/l/pan... 📦 Get my 5 financial freedom planners ➡️ https://moneymalism.de/#planner 📊 Underconsumption Challenge Waitlist➡️ https://moneymalism.de/#planner 👍 Like & subscribe if you want more videos about: minimalism, saving money, expat life, early retirement and building freedom through simple living. 📸 CONNECT WITH ME Facebook ➡️   / moneymalismde   Pinterest ➡️   / moneymalism   ABOUT ME 🌿 I’m Uta, and on this channel we talk about underconsumption money- and scrollingwise, intentional and frugal living the German way (with a lot of inspiration from my German Grandparents), low-buy habits and how to build calm wealth to retire early.
