Speaker: Dr. John Camp, II (Randolph-Macon College, American School of Classical Studies at Athens) Lecture Description: The Athenian agora, the center of ancient Athens, has been under excavation for almost 90 years. In this lecture Dr. John Camp, the Director of the Athenian Agora excavations, presents the most recent work, which has uncovered the Stoa Poikile (Painted Stoa), along with material dating from the 13th century BC until the 13th century AD.
