Kalahari Resort Treehouse Build Update | Emily Nelson Behind the Scenes

Winter hasn’t slowed us down one bit. Emily Nelson checks in from the snowy build site at ‪@KalahariResorts‬ where the Nelson Treehouse crew is hard at work creating an entire village of treehouses. Even in the cold, the structures are rising and the vision is starting to take shape. Because these treehouses are part of a resort setting, some of the structures are supported by engineered posts rather than living trees. To keep the magic of the forest alive, the Kalahari team is crafting beautiful “faux trees” that wrap around the posts, blending the structures into the canopy and giving guests the feeling of truly staying up in the trees.
