In Tamil Food Explorer Episode 81, I visited Cilantro: The Biryani Club to try what could very well be the most expensive biryani in Singapore — the legendary Exclusive Angus Tomahawk Biryani priced at a staggering $138. Designed for sharing between 4 to 5 people and available only through advance pre-orders, this premium biryani features a massive 180-day grain-fed Black Angus Tomahawk (MB4-5) that is slow roasted before being paired with fragrant Hyderabadi-style dum biryani rice. The result is an extraordinary combination of tender beef, aromatic spices and beautifully cooked basmati rice unlike anything I've tried before. But the feast didn't stop there. I also sampled several of Cilantro's signature dishes including: • Chicken Tikka • Lamb Haleem (my first time ever trying Haleem!) • Gulab Jamun • Authentic Karak Chai From the presentation to the flavour and quality of ingredients, this was one of the most luxurious Indian dining experiences I've had in Singapore.
