Four interesting varieties of holly - Ilex aquifolium, PLUS a ring in!

It's the eve of Christmas eve so we've decided it's time for a festive special and what better plant to look at than holly?! Of course in Australia Christmas falls in mid summer when hollies have no berries but even so they are still often used at this time of year as decoration here. In this video we're looking at four interesting varieties of Ilex aquifolium growing in the historic Mount Macedon garden Durrol. We'll be showing more of this garden in the new year so stay tuned and many thanks to the owners of this amazing wonderland for allowing us to film in their private garden!
