The film that's based on true events has Barun team up with Rinku Rajguru and Amol Palekar, who's returning to films after nearly a decade. Barun speaks to me about being drawn to content that is relevant and something that resonates with him. He says he has hardly got a part through an audition since Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. He has worked with the same people a lot and that's because they like to fall back on him for any new project that they are doing. Barun speaks fondly about Rinku Rajguru., and is actually surprised to know that she is just 20 years old. About Amol Palekar he talks about his dad being a fanboy when he got to know Barun would be working with him.
