A vida de São Luís Maria Grignion de Montfort

On April 28th, the Church celebrates the memory of Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort, known as a great apostle of devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Even though he served as a priest for only 16 years, Saint Louis carried out a fantastic work of evangelization, the fruits of which we still reap today. He also influenced several 20th-century Popes. Furthermore, many are unaware that the French region of Vendée, eighty years after being evangelized by Saint Louis Grignion de Montfort, heroically resisted the bloody attacks on the faith waged by the French Revolution. Listen to this sermon, delivered by Father Paulo Ricardo on April 28th, 2014, and discover what this great servant of God has to teach the Church and people today.
