The 5th JYM Trio Concert: P. I. Tchaikovsky - Romance in F minor, Op. 5
차이코프스키의 피아노 독주곡 중 가장 대중적이고 아름다운 걸작 중 하나인 곡으로 그의 특유의 애절한 선율과 극적인 구성이 돋보이는 작품입니다. 이 곡은 그가 한때 사랑했던 이탈리아 오페라 가수 데지레 아르토에게 헌정된 곡으로 결실을 맺지 못한 그녀와의 사랑에 대한 애틋하고 서글픈 마음이 투영된 것으로 알려져 있습니다. A-B-A의 3부형식으로 1부는 차분하고 서정적인 멜로디가, 2부는 감정이 고조되며 경쾌하게 흐르다가 3부에서 다시 서정적인 선율로 고요하고 담담하게 마무리되는 곡인데 피아노가 아닌 클래식 기타의 부드러운 음색으로도 잘 어울리는 곡입니다.
