Horticultural Therapy: Round 3, A slipper Orchid Basket Case

This segment of my “garden therapy” series has been given the title “horticultural therapy” since I’m running out of synonyms. As it turns out this is the more appropriate term! Spring deepens in southern Japan and my garden is growing like mad now, so I am in in daily, pruning, weeding and repotting plants. In this video you’ll see me repot a slipper orchid (Paphiopedium armeniacum) into a hanging basket, as well as mounting a Japanese native orchid (Dendrobium moniliforme) onto a wooden mount. In the garden the plants continue to flower, and the rainy days alternate with brilliant sunny ones. Come along for another relaxing ride of garden therapy. Please visit us at: http://botanyboy.org/
