Nuit avec des ours, rencontre avec un lynx: le «kit de survie» de Julien Perrot face à l'éco-anxiété

At the age of 11, using his grandmother's typewriter, Julien Perrot created La Salamandre, the magazine dedicated to nature. Nicknamed the "Naturalist Mozart," this young boy impressed people early on with his knowledge of flora and fauna, his enthusiasm, and his ability to share his passion. Forty-two years later, the enthusiasm of this seasoned observer of animals and plants remains undiminished. He doesn't need to travel to the ends of the earth to be amazed and recharge his batteries with beauty. "The most incredible safari begins right on our doorstep," he explains. At a time when eco-anxiety, even environmental burnout, affects many young and old alike in the face of climate change, Julien Perrot offers and embodies a positive approach to ecology, based on observing and preserving life. He cultivates an impressive enthusiasm, especially since Julien has a visual impairment that makes every observation a victory. In Les Engagés, Aude Sérès, editor-in-chief at Le Figaro, interviews Julien Perrot, founder of La Salamandre.
