In this review of the Sole E25 Elliptical, I go over what to expect and how this machine performed for our team. Even though this is the most affordable and entry-level model from Sole, it is a high-quality elliptical with a nice build and good features. The steel frame supports the base and handles up to 350 lbs of user weight. It also is solid at 209 lbs. Due to its size and weight, we recommend keeping the E25 Elliptical in a designated spot in your home. It can be moved around when needed with the rear handle on the back floor stabilizer and the front transport wheels though. The pedals are over-sized to work for most people and athletic shoes. They’re nonadjustable but our team found the 2-degree inward slope to be comfortable. The pedals and handlebars move in a traditional elliptical pattern of primarily forward and backward so you’ll get a good low-impact cardio workout on this machine. The E25 has a 20-inch stride length that is best for most people. Even our shorter reviewers found this length to be comfortable because of the narrower and more compact frame size of the E25 compared to larger, higher-end ellipticals from Sole that feel a little too large for some. The E25 is a front-drive elliptical with a 20 lb flywheel that makes it feel sturdy and smooth to use. It’s also really quiet. The 20 levels of magnetic resistance and incline make for good training options and the LCD screen is backlit for good metrics tracking and the ability to choose from onboard workout programs. You can also connect to the Sole+ App for more tracking and training options. The speakers are Bluetooth enabled but a little weak so you might want to use your own.
