Heavy SHREDS Chaos Hordes With BUFFED Damage Heavy Bolter - True Solo Absolute | Space Marine 2

In this run we take the Damage Variant Heavy Bolter with Max damage perks on Heavy. In patch 13 the Damage Variant Heavy Bolter actually got a damage buff and now does slightly more damage(~18%) than the Heroic Heavy Bolter. Previously Heroic Heavy Bolter did slightly more damage. With this buff, Damage Variant has the highest DPS out of all Heavy Bolters. There isn't anything too crazy about the weapon perks we picked. Heavy Immunity is a staple due to knock back protection. I guess the Perpetual Penetration is a little different. Just wanted better horde clear against chaos, since tzaangors are still pretty tanky. Strengh of this Bolter over heroic is that is can shoot a lot longer and cool off a lot faster without needing to gunstrike. Weakness would be that it doesn't have a fencing parry window. For the class perks we pick up "Thermal Boost" over the usual "Fortitude" for more damage over hp. Thermal Boost increases ranged damage by 15% when 50% overheated or under 50% ammo. Heavy Bolter can overheat and have low ammo letting it trigger this perk in more situation(doesn't get double trigger). If you have more that 50% ammo you can still trigger it by overheating past 50% and if you have low ammo it will be on all the time. We pick the usual Overwhelming Power & Brute Force perks for a 25% damage boost when Iron Halo is active. Brute Force counts Iron Halo active as though it is on cooldown. We also pick Adamant Will for 20% damage reduction for 10s after deactivating iron halo. This has no cooldown so you can use it constantly as long as you have ability charge. For the side arm we just picked fire rate plasma pistol. Regarding Vortex map. So they updated the Destroy Altar Objective that has the Exploding chaos ball to be able to hit you while hiding behind the Altar. Now you need to use a lot more time hiding and going back. This objective was already annoying and tedious with the hide behind altar trick, but now it's just worse.
