Celebrating 300 years of the Romanov Dynasty

Торжества 300-летия царствования Дома Романовых в гг.Костроме и Москве 20-26 мая 1913 г Celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty in Moscow and Kostroma 20-26 May 1913. Here I present a series of original photographs taken in 1913 during the Tricentenary of the House of Romanov. The dynasty began when Mikhail Feodorovich became the first Romanov tsar in 1613 , within the walls of the Ipatyev Monastery in Kostroma. This act put an end to the Time of Troubles, one of the most distressful periods in Russian history.
