Is traveling to Curaçao expensive? I spent 2 weeks there and in this video I talk about each type of expense and also give tips about the currency in Curaçao. Some of the expenses of my trip that I mention in the video: How much did the ticket to Curaçao cost? My ticket departing from Rio de Janeiro, with a layover in Bogotá, cost R$ 2884 round trip. Price of attractions and tours: The most famous full-day tour that I recommend is the boat trip to Klein Curaçao island. It costs US$130 per person, but includes breakfast, lunch, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, sun loungers, and shade on the beach. Another excursion was the seabob tour, which cost US$95 for 1 hour. There are beaches with paid entry in Curaçao that are worthwhile and cost around US$3 or US$3.50 per person. Most beaches have free shade from trees. But if you prefer comfort, you can rent a sun lounger for US$3 to US$6. Hotel prices: You won't find well-located hotels for less than US$100 per night in a double room in a basic hotel, without breakfast. Cell phone chip: We bought a chip on the island for US$50 for 2 weeks. Transportation costs: Renting a car can help you on your trip, because the island is large and the attractions and beaches are spread out. In the north, we didn't see any public transportation.
