Is Conasauga Creek Worth It? | Cherokee National Forest Trail

The Kind of Trail You Need After a Long Week | Conasauga Creek Trail Sometimes you don't need a gnarly rock crawl — you just need trees, water, and good company. Me, Kevin, and Hunter took the Gladiator out to Conasauga Creek Trail just south of Tellico Plains in the Cherokee National Forest for exactly that kind of day. Conasauga is a scenic forest service road with multiple water crossings winding through dense East Tennessee woodland below Bakers Grave Mountain. The highlight? Witt Road — a section that's famous for a reason. It's a key part of the Smoky Mountain 500, a ~500-mile adventure bike route through Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia, and those water crossings have ended more than a few two-wheel adventures. In a Jeep? We just drove through and smiled. This one's for anyone who wants to know what Conasauga Creek is actually like before they go — solid beginner to intermediate trail, beautiful scenery, and water crossings that are fun without being sketchy on a dry day. 🗺️ Trail: Conasauga Creek / Witt Road | Cherokee National Forest, TN 📍 Near Tellico Plains, Tennessee Gear I use - https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls...
