Kuvalo Bafat By GrandMa | Ash Gourd Green Masala | Mangalore | Udupi Style Ingredients : Ash gourd - 1 medium & 1 small size Chop and rinse well Salt as per taste Turmeric powder | ½ tbsp Water Bay leaves | 4 to 5 Close the lid and cook well Strain the water Coconut | 1 ½ Grate and grind into a paste Strain the coconut milk and separate into thin & thick milk Heat a vessel Cooking Oil | 2 – 3 tbsp Onions | 3 Garlic bulbs | 2 Bay Leaves | 2 - 3 Cinnamon | 2 -3 inches Cloves | 7 - 8 Add the ground paste ( paste of 3 Onions, 1 Garlic bulb, 1.5 inch Ginger, 5 green Chilies ) Fry for 1-2 minutes Add half portion of the thin milk and bring it to a boil Add the cooked Ash gourd Add the thick milk Cook for 3 - 4 minutes Add the remaining thin milk Vinegar | 3-5tbsp Mix well Close the lid and bring it a boil Ready to serve Do support me by following my channel!
