Lava Lamp 50th Anniversary
It's a British design classic and an icon of the swinging sixties. We've all seen them, many of us have owned one and some people even collect them. I'm talking about the lava lamp, which is celebrating it's fiftieth anniversary this week. Well the lava lamp was the brainchild of a Dorset man who got the idea while watching an egg timer in a New Forest pub.
