Wilbur Canyon - West Clear Creek Wilderness This is one of my favorite technical canyons. It's beautiful. It's challenging, but not too challenging. And it's cold. Tina started shivering and was having a rough time at the end, but she hung in there like a trooper. The final rappel straight into West Clear Creek (which is also beautiful) is just icing on the cake. After you've had that cake, you have to climb up 800' (and I mean climb) in an especially miserable canyon exit. Then you get treated to about an hour driving on the infamous West Clear Creek Roads.
