Koppōjutsu Controlling Options.

It is not simply “bone breaking,” nor is it just a collection of strikes, kicks, or joint destructions. Those are possible expressions. The deeper subject is: How do you remove the opponent’s ability to organize force? By controlling their options Controlling which responses remain structurally useful. An inexperienced practitioner reacts to whatever the opponent does. A skilled Koppōjutsu practitioner progressively removes choices. At first, the opponent may have several viable responses. Through angle, pressure, timing, positioning, and skeletal alignment, those responses are reduced. When only one useful movement remains, the opponent becomes predictable. When that remaining movement continues the collapse, the opponent is outmatched. Not because the practitioner is stronger. Because the opponent has been placed inside an unsolvable structural dilemma. Own the line. Preserve your structure. Remove the opponent’s options. Commit only when the geometry becomes inevitable. That is Koppōjutsu please train gently.
