Our 90 Acre Farm Has A Dead Tree Problem
We’re back in the woodlot on our 90 acre farm in the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia and this part of the property has a bit of a dead tree problem. In this video, we walk through the woodlot and start working out what needs to be cut, what should stay for wildlife, what can be used as firewood, where the dirt bike and quad tracks need clearing, and where we might plant new saplings in the future. We’re still learning as we go, so we’re trying to figure out the balance between cleaning up the property, keeping natural shelter for animals, and slowly restoring this part of the farm over time.
