2014 Volvo S60 T6 R-Design Polestar - WR TV Walkaround

Today we set our sights on this Swedish sports sedan from a brand that's perhaps been best known for its focus on safety in the past, but now looks to be making a run at nabbing some sales away from the performance divisions of automakers like Mercedes Benz and BMW. Slotted between the standard S60 T6 and the hot-blooded, limited production S60 Polestar, the S60 T6 R-Design sports a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder motor that outputs 325 horsepower and 354lb-ft of torque, which routes the power to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. This combination gets the S60 T6 R-Design to 60mph from a standstill in five seconds flat. The S60 T6 R-Design also gets uprated suspension bits including stiffer bushings, beefier sway bars and monotube dampers, and it rides half an inch lower than the standard S60.
