Sidelined 2020 - Six Months to Live by Artie Boyle
Sidelined is an annual reflection facilitated by Campus Ministry, LEVEL, and Athletics that gives students and student-athletes a chance to reflect on how injuries, while difficult and frustrating, can also be opportunities for transformation, gratitude, and meaning. For this year's edition of Sidelined, we were joined by Artie Boyle, author of the book Six Months to Live: Three Guys on the Ultimate Quest for a Miracle. In his story, Artie talks about how his injury, a battle with terminal cancer, led him on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje and a spiritual healing that forever transformed him as a person. He also shares insights on how learning to practice faith, hope, and gratitude has helped him become a more resilient person.
