This is a sequel to the "Looking Back at the Giants' Ambition with Realistic Professional Baseball Games" series, which has followed the performance of professional baseball teams, primarily the Yomiuri Giants, by changing the game each year since 2001. With Sho Nakata, who was traded for free from the Fighters after an assault incident, joining the team, they aim for a consecutive Japan Series championship with their powerful batting lineup. The Giants won Game 3 of the CS Final Stage, tying the series at 2-2 (including the advantage). The winner of this fourth game will be one win away from advancing to the Japan Series. *The Final Stage is a best-of-six series (the league champion has a one-game advantage; if the series ends in a tie, the league champion advances to the Japan Series).
