Neuer U-Bahn JK-Zug startet in den Fahrgasteinsatz - Neuwagen für alle

On September 8, 2025, the new JK trains for the small profile lines U1-U4 finally entered passenger service. The new trains had several delays (the first unit was already presented in November 2022), but were often seen in the U-Bahn network in the past months for test runs. The new trains have a wide interior, modern passenger information systems, dynamic lighting and very comfortable driving behavior. As a test, all announcements are fully bilingual with two voices. This video shows impressions of the ceremony for the first run in passenger service.
