▶ Subscribe to the Learning: https://bit.ly/2OTE7Wj In this video, we see how to calculate the year-over-year percentage difference, a very interesting calculation (it's important to emphasize that to solve this scenario, it's essential to know the CALCULATE function and basic time intelligence functions). To solve this problem, we need to divide the formula into variables in two steps. In the first variable, we store the current sales without modifying the filter context. As a second step, we retrieve the sales from the previous year using CALCULATE and SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR to modify the filter. Once we have two variables, we can proceed to the final step where we need to use IF to verify that the sales are greater than zero in order to hide the years with no sales in the matrix.
