The most incredible gorge I’ve been in — Giant gap 2000cfs
Giant gap of the North American river. Run infamous for its 3 mile hike in, dropping 3000ft in elevation down to the river. It’s then followed by a box rock gorge with many class IV-V rapids, very tight and California style, which were even pushier than usual with it being this high. Some bad lines happened but we got to the bottom and made it down in the third fastest time in the history of giant gap (according to strava). Very much so an epic day of paddling.
