Vintage Diesels at Maltanka Park Railway in Poznań - Cab Ride on 1932 Rail Bus Ryjek

The Polish version of the "Galloping Goose". The 3.5 km long, 600 mm narrow gauge railway is the most famous park railway in Poland and dates from 1956. There are three two-axle type WLs40 and WLs50 rod-driven, diesel mechanical locomotives are from the same era, built between 1956 and 1964. They look a bit like faux steam, but on second sight are more apparant as small diesel shunters. Even more interesting is the unique 1932 rail bus "Ryjek" (Snout) with the classification number MBxc1-41. It has a petrol engine and barely can pull one added coach. Built by Lilpop, Rau i Loewenstein in Warsaw for the county railway Bydgoskie Koleje Powiatowe near Bydgoszcz, it was used by the state railway PKP at Jarocińska Kolej Dojazdowa after WWII and then came to Maltanka in 2002, following a full overhaul. - - Kolejka Parkowa Maltanka (KPM) w Poznaniu. _ _ _ Die polnische Version des Wismarer Schienenbus ("Ameisenbär", "Schweinzeschnäuzchen) aus der gleichen Epoche der frühen 1930er Jahre.
