For the MT N-ONE RS, it's more common to install the "Auto Brake Hold Kit," also sold by Enlarge Shoji. *The product available for purchase in this video is the model without the auto parking brake function. The reason is that MT vehicles don't have a "parking shift," so the "shift-linked auto parking brake" we're installing won't function. However, I had one personal concern, so I decided to install this product anyway. Specifically... Imagine a situation where you want to move the car slightly without fastening your seatbelt, such as within a private property. *Assuming the shift-linked parking brake is functioning. In the case of a CVT vehicle... When you put it in D range, the parking brake is released and you can move the car. Once you've moved the car to the desired position, put it in parking shift. (Parking brake engages automatically) Turn off the engine. This ensures safety, as the parking brake is always engaged after the engine is stopped, regardless of whether the seatbelt is fastened or not. For manual transmission vehicles… Put the car in 1st gear, manually release the parking brake, and move the car. Shift to neutral and stop the engine. (The parking brake is not engaged in this state.) Therefore, if stopped on a slope, the car may move. However, if the auto brake hold function is turned on, the parking brake will engage automatically after the engine is stopped. I decided to install this kit for CVT vehicles in a manual transmission car because I thought it would be nice if the parking brake engaged automatically when the engine was stopped, even if the auto brake hold function was not turned on (i.e., the seatbelt was not fastened). However, upon further consideration, I realized that this is impossible given the product's design. Nevertheless, the auto brake hold function works perfectly without any problems, so although it was a somewhat expensive purchase, I'm glad it works without issue. Also, although it may be a rare case, if there's a possibility of switching from a manual transmission (MT) N-ONE RS to a CVT N-ONE RS, I think it would be worthwhile to purchase this kit and transfer it when switching to the CVT, thus avoiding the need to buy a new one.
