The Overlook Memories Volume 2 (Full Album)

The Overlook Memories Volume 2 Continuing with the next volume of the memories from "The Overlook Hotel" we are presented with more recollections from the gold times of the hotel, although some of them may sound unfamilirar and dark, we are still remembering the good times that these wall had seen. As we progress through this musical journey of the past, the recent events at The Overlook start to install at our selection, a couple of touches from the reality that now the hotel lives after the notorious events. The recent events of the mountain resort introduces us a distant reality in which somehow another story is being told at other level. The Secret of the Memories is still there, but today's one is just around the corner. The music that is here, are a couple of samples from big bands from the 1930s and 1940s. They are modificated so they can resemble the music vibe that is held on "The Shining" that means big empty ballrooms with distant music and in some places more distorted and broken. This project is highly inspired by James Leyland Kirby "The Caretaker" and his musical releases like "Everywhere at the end of Time" "An Empty Bliss Beyond This World" or "Selected Memories From the Haunted Ballroom" please visit his work that is truly amazing and its worth listening the whole albums no matter how long they are. My intention with this, is truly recreative, i made this because even before i discovered "The Caretaker" i was in love with old music from this era, especially big bands from the 1940s, when i discovered "The Caretaker" i wanted to give some of my favorite songs that same vibe of "Big empty Ballroom" that "The Caretaker" music had, so in my limited knowledge of music production and sound, i tried to make something that felt quite like that and i am really surprised on the vibe they transmit, and i am sure that you will enjoy it too. I insist i dont have a great knowledge of musical production and i made this from the limited things i ve known over the years. To make things clear: this muscial project (although is inspired by "Everywhere at the end of time" and some titles may induce that) has nothing to do with dementia or alzheimer disease, of course it feautres things like memory, but this has nothing to do with dementia or memory loss, the vibe i want to transimt with this, is the vibe of music from "The Shining" big empty ballrooms. The music is not expermiental or has sort of secret meaning, the only purporse of this album is to enjoy the music and the echoing sounds, just as you would do with "The Shining" Soundtrack. Thats All, i hope you enjoy this project and i hope you have a wonderful day.
