Note: This interview was conducted over the course of 6 hours, and we covered lots of detailed information going back decades. As a result, some details may have been missed. After reviewing our interview, Terry would like to provide the following clarification: 11:15 - Terry provided live announcements for attractions at Disneyland. His voice was not used at Disney World, although the voice used is extremely similar! 41:00 - The pay scale information provided for Disneyland may be slightly inaccurate and/or may have changed over time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In this episode, I spend a day with Terry Gold, the owner and conductor of the Folsom Valley Railway. Terry has been operating the train daily since he acquired the railroad in 1990. The Cricket is a 12 inch oil-fired narrow gauge steam engine built in 1950. The train operates year-round at Folsom Lions Park in Folsom, California. Learn more about the Folsom Valley Railway here: https://folsomvalleyrailway.com Thank you for watching!
