WILD CAPULIN CHERRIES! (Muntingia Calabura) AKA "Cotton Candy Fruit" - Exotic Fruits of Costa Rica

(***EDIT/DISCLAIMER: In the video I refer to this plant with the incorrect scientific name. I said "Prunus Salicifolia" which is a different fruit that shares the common name of Capulin. The correct scientific name for the plant shown in this video is Muntingia Calabura***) I just discovered these delicious fruits that grow wild all over the place here in Guanacaste Province! A good one to keep your eye out for if spending time in Central America. These trees generally stay quite small, mature trees reaching up to 10 meters in height. 0:00 - Intro/Basic Information 1:20 - Eating the Cherries 2:35 - How it Grows 3:34 - How/When to Harvest the Fruits
