He has recently been deeply involved in Osaka’s redevelopment through the “Umekita Project.” In September 2024, Grand Green Osaka, where half the land is green space, will open. Within it, the new cultural facility VS. , designed and overseen by Ando, is hosting his first domestic exhibition in eight years, starting March 20, titled “Youth.” This inspired the May 2025 issue of Casa BRUTUS, themed “Tadao Ando × Youth: How to stay youthful in the 100-year life era.” It features his latest architectural works and conversations with prominent figures exploring how to live well even in challenging times. ▶ Tadao Ando Exhibition | Youth Dates: March 20 – July 21, 2025 Venue: VS.
