Bridgestone's new products for 2021 will be unified under the brand name "BRIDGESTONE GOLF." The lineup includes two models: the "B1," which lets you aim and hit the ball farther without fear of hitting it left, and the "B2," which catches the ball and hits it farther without letting it go to the right. These models feature a design featuring the "B" logo. The key technology is "SP-COR (Suspension Core)," which was first used in the 2019 "TOUR B JGR" model. This time, the material has changed from aluminum to titanium, with a polymer installed inside. This ensures the strength of the face while reducing its weight, resulting in a significant thinning of the center by 3.35mm. This is "NEW SP-COR," which significantly expands the high initial velocity area. The lineup also features a "Hybrid Crown" with an internal hexagonal "honeycomb string," which is used in the 2021 "TOUR B X" model. The company's signature "Power Milling" features milling that is twice as rough on the toe and heel as it is in the center. This reduces spin on off-center shots and improves straightness. The "B2" uses a "D.B.D. (Draw Bias Design)" that concentrates approximately 18g of load on the heel. By increasing the center of gravity angle and lateral moment of inertia, we've achieved automatic grip and a stable head for excellent straight-line performance. This model is positioned as the successor to the popular "JGR" brand, and its head characteristics make it more likely to produce a high draw.
