Infamous Range 400 • Just Another Day In The Marine Corps
Range 400 on Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, 29 Palms, is a live fire range. Range 400 is used to train rifle companies in the techniques and procedures for attacking fortified areas, and is the most dynamic live-fire range in the Marine Corps pre-fleet training. Range 400 gives Marines a realistic training experience of closing into fire with an enemy. Range 410A and 410 are just a stepping stone to Range 400. U.S. Marines with 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, perform a live fire multi-force engagement at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Range 400, Twentynine Palms, CA on January 25, 2021.
