Donington Park Historic Formula Ford 2023 Linton Stutely onboard

Driver's eye view of Linton's win on a hot day in June 2023 at Donington Park. A few things to note, it's hard to prevent your car rolling on the downhill start so typically I had to brake just as the light's went out. Also the rev counter wasn't showing the correct RPM. The turning point in the race comes 11 minutes in. Matthew Wrigley manages to sneak past into the Old Hairpin to give Callum Grant a 1 second lead. In clear air I set fastest lap and brought this lead to virtually zero in the space of two laps. Again I managed to get in front and decided it was better to lead by the front rather than sit behind and cook the engine. 18 minutes in Callum and I touch lightly under braking for the last chicane and this effectively ended his challenge. It was deemed to be a racing incident.
